Tama Starphonic Bravura Concert Snare 14"x6" - Gloss Mocha Fade

Product Description

The Tama Starphonic Bravura Concert Snare is built for orchestral and ensemble playing. Its 6mm, 7-ply maple shell delivers a warm, versatile tone, while a 120° snare bed lets the bottom head resonate freely for maximum snare response. Three different snare wire assemblies are included, letting you tailor the sound to your repertoire and playing style.

The drum is fitted with Tama's Grooved Straight Hoop (10-hole) and Freedom Lugs, a combination that keeps tuning stable and response consistent across the dynamic range. The MLS50AC strainer and MLS50AB butt plate, both featuring a Multi Snare Frame, keep the snare wires evenly tensioned across the full width of the drum.

The three included snare wire assemblies. A nickel wound round guitar string wire, a black nylon coated stainless steel wire, and a hi-carbon coil snare wire. Each bring a distinct tonal character, from warm and full to sharp and cutting-edge clear. That makes the drum flexible enough for anything from classical orchestral work to more contemporary ensemble settings.
