Product Description

The Meinl Cajon Drum Set is a portable option for players who want the feel of a full drum kit without the volume. The set is built around a birch cajon that serves as the bass drum, paired with a pedal, a mountable snare, and a small hi-hat – everything you need for softer settings where a regular drum kit would be too loud.

The idea is simple: you get the core elements of a drum kit – bass, snare and hi-hat – but in a quieter, more acoustic form. That makes it a good fit for unplugged playing, smaller venues, or practicing at home without disturbing the neighbours. The cajon can easily be set up for both right- and left-handed players.

Construction

The cajon is made from birch (Baltic Birch, Betula pendula) and has no snare wires, giving it a deeper bass register when played with the pedal. It comes with a mountable cajon snare and a Multi Clamp for building up the stand, plus an HCS 13 hi-hat mounted on a low hi-hat stand. Bamboo Rods are included as an alternative playing tool for the cajon.
