Cabaza medium
A smaller cabasa built for kids from age 4. Grooved steel plate and steel beads give the classic cabasa sound.
Product Description
The NINO702 is a smaller-sized cabasa designed specifically for children. It produces the classic cabasa sound as you hold it in one hand and sweep the other rhythmically across the steel beads. A solid choice for kids taking their first steps into rhythm and percussion.
The sound chamber is cylindrical and made of wood, wrapped with a grooved steel plate surrounded by a mesh of steel beads. It's the contact between the beads and the ridged surface that creates the cabasa's signature scraping sound.
Who It's For
Recommended from age 4, making it well suited for preschools, schools and early music education. NINO® Percussion instruments are not toys but genuine musical instruments, built to withstand children's hands while still sounding right - the only real difference from equivalent adult instruments lies in size and color, not in function or sound quality.
