Schlagwerk CBA1S Quick Assembly Kit Medium

Product Description

The Schlagwerk CBA1S is an assembly kit for building your own medium-size cajon, with all parts pre-cut and ready for quick assembly. The result is a fully playable instrument with warm bass and a crisp snare response. A rewarding project to build alone or together with family and friends, and a great first step into the world of cajon.

Easy assembly, real instrument

The birch parts are precision-cut and pre-drilled for quick assembly. Fast-drying glue and tension belts are included, and the whole thing can be put together in about 90 minutes. Instructions are provided in five languages: German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. No previous building experience needed.

Sound and playability

The resonating body is built from eight layers of birch, and the playing surface is also birch. The integrated snare system with 20 spirals delivers a clear, responsive snare effect alongside a warm, full bass. The balanced tone makes it versatile for jams and more structured playing alike.

Dimensions and seated feel

The finished cajon measures approximately 30 × 30 × 45 cm, with a playing height of around 45 cm for a comfortable seated position and good balance between bass and snare tones.
