Product Description
Vic Firth's Buddy Rich model is an enhanced 5A with a larger tip, neck and shoulder - a stick for players who love the 5A feel but want a bit more body and control on impact. The long taper gives a back-heavy feel with more flex and a faster response, keeping the stick nimble in the hand without losing power.
Feel and Sound
Made from American hickory with a painted surface for a secure grip and durability, the stick's rounded wood tip (blended shape, medium surface area) produces a warm, full tone on both heads and cymbals while keeping stick definition clear. The model is also available with a nylon tip for a brighter, more defined attack.
Who It's For
A solid choice if you already play 5A but want a bit more stick to work with - on the kit as well as in the rehearsal room. Despite the name, this isn't a niche product but a well-balanced all-rounder.
