Product Description
Broomsticks Small sits somewhere between brushes and drumsticks, blending the character of both into one tool. The result is a full sound with a soft attack – a good fit when brushes feel too weak and regular sticks feel too hard.
Broomsticks are made from a root-like natural material, which gives them their distinctive, slightly uneven sound and feel in the hand. The PMBRM2 is the thinner version in the family, with a slightly narrower grip than its bigger sibling, the PMBRM, making it a touch more responsive and sensitive on attack.
Feel and Use
Broomsticks work well in that in-between zone where brushes can't quite keep up with the dynamics and regular sticks feel too stiff and unforgiving. A popular way to build a softer, more relaxed setup is to pair a Lightning Rod in the right hand with a Broomstick in the left, combining attack with a fuller, softer tone in the same kit.
