Product Description
The Boston Tension Rod Blocker is a simple rubber piece that keeps your drum's tension rods locked in place while you play. It fits over the tension rod and stops it from vibrating loose from hard hits and rim shots, helping your drum head stay in tune longer.
Each blocker is laser precision cut and the set includes 4 pieces, enough for one snare drum. The idea comes from a collaboration between session drummer Ton Dijkman and Hessel Fekkes, who builds high-end custom snare drums under the name Dutch Drums. Together they looked for a solution to tension rods loosening from rim shots, which led to the Tension Rod Blocker.
