Meinl Percussion Headliner HB100VWB-M 6 3/4" och 8" - Maple (WRB)

Product Description

The Meinl Headliner HB100VWB-M is a pair of bongos from the Headliner Designer Series, built in rubber wood with an attractive maple finish (WRB). With black hardware and genuine buffalo skins, it offers solid quality for the price and works well as a first pair of bongos or a complement to an existing percussion setup.

The pair consists of a smaller drum (macho, 6 3/4") and a larger drum (hembra, 8"), giving you the classic contrast between bright and low tones that bongo playing relies on. The shells are made from rubber wood (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg), and the heads are selected buffalo skins for a warm, clear tone. The hardware is finished in black powder coating for a clean, uniform look.

If you need replacement heads down the line, the exact matching models are available: HHEAD634W for the smaller drum and HHEAD8W for the larger one. A tuning key is included, so you can fine-tune the pitch right out of the box.

If you'd rather play standing up or seated without holding the bongos between your knees, Meinl's Headliner bongo stand THBS pairs well with this set, and the Meinl Bongo Bag MSTBB is a good option for transport.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want to get started with bongo playing without compromising on hardware and skin quality, or if you're looking for an affordable addition to an existing percussion setup.
