Big Fat Snare Drum Steve's Donut 15"
Muffling pad with a 6" center cutout for a dark, dampened vintage snare sound with more attack than the Original.
Product Description
The Big Fat Snare Drum Steve's Donut is a dampening pad with a hole in the center that sits on top of your snare drum's batter head. It delivers a muffled, old-school vintage sound with a lower fundamental pitch, but with more attack than BFSD's original "The Original". The pad simply rests loosely on the head, so it's easy to put on or take off whenever you want.
- Delivers a fat, vintage snare sound
- No need for tape, felt or gel
- Lowers the drum's fundamental pitch
- Easy to attach or remove
- 6" Center Circle Cutout
Steve's Donut is a great choice if you want the dark, muffled tone common on older recordings while still keeping a clear attack in the snare sound. Since it only rests loosely on the head, you can quickly test the dampening and just as easily remove it again between songs or sets.
