Product Description

The Studio Pack contains four Quesadilla dampeners in sizes 10", 12", 14" and 16". They sit on top of the existing snare or tom head and give a warm, vintage-inspired 1970s sound without having to retune the drum.

Material And Sizes

The dampeners are made of fabric (canvas) and come in four sizes: 10", 12", 14" and 16". This means one pack covers snare drum and several tom sizes.

Function

Each Quesadilla has a magnetic pull tab that attaches to the hoop, tension rod or lug. Opposite the tab there is a sewn-in loop where the tab can be threaded through to form a half-moon shape, reducing the dampening and giving more stick attack.

Sound and Feel

The result is a genuine, deep and warm tone with a 1970s feel, a thick and powerful vintage sound. The dampeners suit drums tuned medium to high, where you don't need extra drums to get that sound.

Compatibility And Removal

The pull tab means the dampeners can be removed quickly when not needed. They work with most types of hoops, including Triple Flanged Hoops, Die Cast Hoops, Single Flanged, DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, Wood Hoops, S-Hoops and Vintage Hoops.
