Big Fat Snare Drum Donut 16"
Big Fat Snare Drum 16'' Donut is a damper made from patented rubber and plastic that sits on top of the batter or tom head.
Product Description
Big Fat Snare Drum 16'' Donut is placed on top of your existing snare or tom head to lower the drum's fundamental pitch without any hassle.
Sound and Feel
The tone is described as genuine, deep and warm, with a Vintage, powerful and heavy sound inspired by the 1970s. The centre is cut out so the attack of the snare's batter head comes through, giving a medium-strength, dull sound and the feel of your own batter head. You don't need to retune the drum or bring out extra drums to get that sound.
Construction
The damper is made from patented rubber and plastic and has a rubberised gasket that gives weight, balance and stability when it sits on the head. A cut-out thumb grip lets you lift it off again quickly.
Fits
Big Fat Snare Drum 16'' Donut works with Triple Flanged Hoops, Die Cast Hoops, Single Flanged, DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, Wood Hoops, S-Hoops and Vintage Hoops. It is placed directly on top of the existing snare or tom head.
