The Big Fat Snare Drum "Steve's Donut" 15" is a dampening ring you place directly on top of your existing snare or tom head to lower the fundamental pitch and deliver a fat, warm, vintage-inspired 70's tone. The center circle cutout keeps a distinct crack in the attack, so you get depth and warmth without losing the character of the hit.

The Donut gives you a medium, beefy, thud-style tone on both snares and toms, with a feel close to your actual batter head thanks to the center circle cutout. The ring is made from a custom blend of rubber and plastic and simply sits on top of the skin. No adhesive, no retuning, and no need to bring extra drums to get the sound.

A thumb cutout allows for quick removal between songs or sets, and a rubberized gasket adds weight, balance and stability so the ring stays put on the head during play.
