The Big Fat Snare Drum Snare-Bourine Donut is a 14" muffle ring that sits right on top of your existing snare or tom head, giving you a fuller, beefier, warmer tone without retuning or swapping drums, plus the added clink of tambourine jingles.

Made from a custom blend of rubber and plastic, the ring rests loosely on the batter head. It lowers the fundamental pitch and adds a thick, thumpy attack reminiscent of vintage, beefy 70's snare tone, without losing the feel of your own head underneath.

Extra clink from tambourine jingles

Unlike BFSD's standard muffle rings, the Snare-Bourine Donut has jingles mounted right in the ring, adding an extra rattling clink on every hit. A center circle cutout lets your batter head's natural crack come through clearly while the ring fattens up and darkens the rest of the tone.

Built for convenience

A thumb cutout lets you pull the ring off quickly between songs or sets, and a rubberized gasket adds weight, balance and stability on the head.

Compatibility

The Snare-Bourine Donut works with most common hoop types, including triple flanged hoops, die cast hoops, single flanged hoops, DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, wood hoops, S-Hoops and vintage hoops.
