Big Fat Snare Drum Shining Original 14"
Big Fat Snare Drum 14'' Shining Original is a damper in Mirrored Mylar finish that lowers the fundamental pitch of your snare drum or tom.
Product Description
Big Fat Snare Drum 14'' Shining Original is placed on top of your existing snare or tom head and lowers the fundamental pitch without hassle. The result is a deep, warm, authentic 1970s-inspired tone with a powerful, bass-heavy feel.
Feel
Compared with The Original, the Shining version is thinner and snaps back faster on attack. At the same time it keeps a vintage feel with a bass-heavy 1970s character underneath.
Material and Construction
The damper is made from a patented rubber blend with plastic. A rubber gasket gives weight, balance and stability, which keeps the damper in place while playing.
Function
A thumb grip makes it quick to lift the damper off between songs or styles. This means drummers do not need to retune the drum or bring extra drums to get a different sound.
Fits
Big Fat Snare Drum 14'' Shining Original fits Triple Flanged Hoops, Die Cast Hoops, Single Flanged, DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, Wood Hoops, S-Hoops and Vintage Hoops.
