Big Fat Snare Drum Shining Combo 14"
Big Fat Snare Drum 14'' Shining Combo is a damper in rubber and plastic with a Mirrored Mylar finish, 6” centre circle cut out.
Product Description
Big Fat Snare Drum 14'' Shining Combo sits on top of your existing snare or tom head and lowers the drum's fundamental pitch without retuning. It gives an authentic, deep and warm tone with a vintage, heavy, thumping 1970s-inspired feel.
Material And Finish
The damper is made from rubber and plastic with a finish called Mirrored Mylar. The centre is cut out with a 6” circle, which lets the head's centre still ring freely while the edges are dampened.
Function
The thumb grip lets you quickly remove the damper between songs. A rubber gasket sits there for weight, balance and stability so the damper stays put on the head.
Sound
Compared to The Original and The Regular Donut, the Shining Combo gives a thinner and snappier sound. At the same time it keeps the deep, warm tone that Big Fat Snare Drum is known for.
Fits
The damper works with Triple Flanged Hoops, Die Cast Hoops, Single Flanged, DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, Wood Hoops, S-Hoops and Vintage Hoops.
