Big Fat Snare Drum Big Fat Snare Drum Medford Square 14"
Big Fat Snare Drum 14'' Medford Square is a dampener with a 7" square Mylar centre and a black gasket ring.
Product Description
Medford Square sits on top of your existing snare or tom head and lowers the fundamental tone straight away, without any hassle or extra drums. It gives a deep, warm tone with a heavy, thumping feel that brings 1970s drums to mind.
Sound and Feel
The dampener gives the drum a thicker, heavier sound with a vintage feel that is heavy and thumping. The tone becomes deep and warm compared to an unprotected head.
Material and Construction
The Mylar centre is square and measures 7". It is made from a patented blend of rubber and plastic, with a rubberised gasket that adds weight, balance and stability.
Function
A thumb hole lets you lift it off quickly when you want to go back to the original sound. No retuning or extra drums are needed.
Fits
Medford Square works on Triple Flanged Hoops, Die Cast Hoops, Single Flanged, DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, Wood Hoops, S-Hoops and Vintage Hoops.
