Big Fat Snare Drum "Steve's Donut" is a rubber/plastic drumhead damper that sits right on top of your existing batter head, instantly giving snares and toms a fatter, warmer, vintage 70's-inspired tone while keeping the feel of your actual head.
"Steve's Donut" is made from a custom blend of patented rubber and plastic and delivers a medium beefy thud on both snare and toms, while the drum still feels and rebounds like your normal batter head. A center circle cutout keeps a clean, sharp crack on snare hits even with the damper in place.
Built for convenience
The BFSD simply sits on top of your existing snare or tom head – no adhesive, no tools. A thumb cutout allows quick removal between songs or sets, and a rubberized gasket adds weight, balance and stability so it stays put while you play.

BFSD is compatible with Triple Flanged Hoops, Die Cast Hoops, Single Flanged Hoops, DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, Wood Hoops, S-Hoops and Vintage Hoops.
