Big Fat Snare Drum Dampening Ring Swiss Donut for Ride-cymbal
Big Fat Snare Drum 13'' Swiss Ride Donut is a cymbal muffler in rubber and plastic with a 5" cutout, for ride or cymbal.
Product Description
The Swiss Ride Donut is placed over the bell of a ride or cymbal and gives it a different sound. The feel is vintage and 1970s inspired.
Function
The donut is placed over the bell with its 5" cutout, which changes the sound of the cymbal as soon as it's placed on.
Sound and Feel
The punched-out air holes let the muffler bounce at every cymbal strike or crash. This creates a powerful, thumping feel with depth and warmth in the tone.
Construction
The material is rubber and plastic, and a rubberised gasket gives weight, balance and stability when the muffler sits on the cymbal. The diameter is 13''.
Handling
A thumb grip sits on the muffler for quick removal.
