Product Description
Steve's Donut is a 10'' drum muffler from Big Fat Snare Drum, made from a patented blend of rubber and plastic. It sits on top of your existing snare or tom head and lowers the drum's fundamental pitch without retuning.
Sound
The muffler gives a Medium Beefy Thud on both snare drums and toms, a heavy, thudding tone with a 1970s feel. The sound is deep and warm, but the feel under your hands stays like your regular batter head.
Construction
The centre has a cutout, the Center Circle Cutout, shaped for the snare's batter head crack. Around the edge sits a rubber gasket that provides weight, balance and stability, and a thumb grip lets you lift the muffler off again quickly.
Requirements
The Donut is placed on top of the head you already have mounted. You don't need to retune the drum or bring extra drums to change the sound.

It fits Triple Flanged Hoops, Die Cast Hoops, Single Flanged, DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, Wood Hoops, S-Hoops and Vintage Hoops.
