The Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide HP900PN is a single pedal from one of the best-selling pedal series in drumming, now updated in six areas for faster action, better sound and increased stability. The off-center axle gives the beater an accelerating motion, making this a reliable, versatile pedal for players who want extra punch. A sturdy hardshell case is included.

• Power-Strike Cobra Beater – a hammer-shaped beater with thicker felt and a smaller diameter for a cleaner attack.
• Swivel Spring Tight – a rotating lower spring mount that keeps the spring aligned with the upper mount, for faster, smoother movement.
• Hinge Guard Block – two new blocks that increase stability and protect the footboard's bearings.
• Superstabilizer Design – a wider frame and base plate for added stability.
• Para-Clamp II Pro – a three-point hoop clamp with protective rubber and generous adjustability, gripping the bass drum hoop without damaging it or affecting how the base plate sits on the floor.
• Lite Sprocket – a 40% lighter sprocket for faster movement.

The pedal also carries over the Cobra Coil, a patented, adjustable spring under the footboard that boosts rebound, and Oiles® bearings with sealed-in oil for smooth, quiet action. The Speedo-Ring upper spring mount rotates for natural spring movement.

Power Glide vs. Rolling Glide
