The cam is infinitely adjustable between Accelerator and Turbo, letting you find anything from a smooth, linear feel to a faster, more leveraged response – or anything in between. You choose the drive yourself: the pedal ships with both chain and strap, so you can use whichever you prefer. A patented, ball-bearing hinge delivers a smooth, responsive feel that really shows during longer playing sessions.
The pedal attaches to the drum hoop with a three-point mount that's gentle on the hoop and provides a secure grip regardless of drum size or angle, backed up by a two-stage hoop clamp that keeps the pedal locked in place. A drum key holder is built into the pedal, so your key is always close at hand and never gets lost.
The DW 9000 is available in two footboard versions: the standard footboard and an extended-footboard version, the DW9000XF. Both are available in right- or left-handed configurations.
