Meinl Bass Cajon w/Snare Pedal 13 1/4" x 19 3/4" x 13 1/2" - Ebony
Meinl bass cajon with ebony front and foot-controlled snare pedal. Adjust pressure with your foot and switch between Flamenco and Peruvian tones.
Product Description
Meinl's Ebony Bass Foot Switch Cajon lets you change snare character on the fly with a foot-activated pedal. Push the pedal to adjust how much pressure the internal snares put on the playing surface, or switch them off completely.
The ebony frontplate delivers rich tone with plenty of response, while the Baltic birch (Betula pendula) resonating body gives the cajon a focused attack and a wide dynamic range across highs and lows. The extra-wide body is built for deep bass, making this cajon a great fit for both Flamenco and Peruvian playing styles.
Foot-activated snare switch
Pressing the pedal changes how hard the internal snares sit against the playing surface. Want a clean, snare-free sound? The same pedal lets you turn the snares off entirely, with no need to open up the cajon.
