Ballads MIDI

Product Description

Ballads MIDI is a MIDI pack from Toontrack featuring pro-played drum tracks built for classic pop and rock ballads. It covers everything from super slow, swung 6/8 to mid-tempo straight and swing 4/4, giving your song a solid rhythmic backbone.

The open ambience of a ballad leaves nowhere to hide. Every ghost note and subtle nuance has its place, and every hit serves a purpose. Drummer Martin Kristoffersson recorded the material with a focus on simple, to-the-point drumming that works in any song that needs a strong foundation rather than flash.

Compatibility

Ballads MIDI works with EZdrummer, EZdrummer 2, Superior Drummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3, and is optimized for a kit consisting of 1 kick, 1 snare, 2 toms, 1 floor tom, 2 crash cymbals and 1 ride cymbal.

Structure

All material is categorized by song and divided into clear sections: intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge and fill. Each song is available in swing and/or straight feel, in both 4/4 and 6/8, so you can quickly find the right groove for your track.

Who It's For

Ballads MIDI is especially useful for songwriters and producers who need a dependable drum foundation for ballads without programming every detail from scratch.
