Product Description
The Audix i5 is an all-purpose dynamic instrument microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern, built to handle very high sound pressure levels without distortion. It works just as well on snare and toms as on guitar and bass cabinets, brass and woodwinds, or vocals. Its VLM™ diaphragm delivers natural, accurate sound reproduction straight out of the mic, without relying on EQ.

Applications
The i5 is a true workhorse: snare, toms and percussion, guitar cabinets and electric instruments, bass cabinets, brass, flute and other woodwinds, acoustic instruments, and vocals or speech. Its compact, tough build makes it easy to clamp close to a drum or in front of a cabinet without getting in the way.
