Audix DP7: seven microphones for drums and percussion, with mounts, windscreens and a road case for fast setup.
Product Description
The Audix DP7 professional drum microphone pack brings together seven purpose-built microphones for miking a full drum kit, on stage or in the studio. Everything you need to get your kit sounding great is included in one aluminum road case.
- Dedicated kick, snare, rack tom and floor tom microphones for accurate close-miking
- Overhead pair for cymbals and overall kit balance
- Rim mounts and clips for fast, drum-friendly setup without extra stands
- Windscreens included for the overhead microphones
- Aluminum road case for transport and storage
What's in the Box
The DP7 pack covers every part of the kit: a D6 for the kick drum, an i5 for the snare, two D2 microphones for the rack toms, a D4 for the floor tom, and a pair of ADX51 overhead microphones for cymbals and room balance. Four DVICE rim mounts attach the tom and snare microphones directly to the drum rims, while three DCLIP clips and one MC1 clip handle mounting for the remaining microphones. Two WS81C windscreens are included for the overhead microphones, and the whole set travels in a dedicated aluminum road case. A "How to Mic Your Drums" DVD is also included, with guidance on getting the most out of the pack.
Who It's For
A good choice for drummers and sound engineers who want a complete, matched microphone setup for a drum kit without piecing it together microphone by microphone.
