Product Description
The AMP CSB-45M is a breakout box that sends four channels of XLR audio down a single shielded CAT cable. It's a practical solution if you want to run several signals through one cable run instead of four separate XLR cables, for example in a fixed installation or stage rig.
The box accepts four XLR inputs (4 x XLR Male) and combines them into one Ethercon output (1 x Ethercon Male), connected via shielded Cat5, Cat6, or Cat7 cable. The signal stays analog all the way with no digital conversion, giving simple, lossless transmission. Phantom power can be passed through the same cable, and the unit also supports AES/EBU digital audio and DMX lighting signals over distances up to 100m, with impedance optimized for digital signal integrity.
The CSB-45M works within a building's existing shielded cable infrastructure (STP), or new installations can be upgraded by selecting a higher-category cable for expanded transmission. The housing is built from durable anodized aluminum.
