Americana EBX

Product Description

Americana EBX is a bass expansion for Toontrack's EZbass, built around a classic American electric bass guitar from the late '60s. The sampled bass is paired with a broad collection of presets and a custom MIDI library of basslines, working equally well in stripped-back acoustic arrangements and full-on rock productions.

Americana music has its roots in folk, gospel, blues, soul, country, jazz and rock, and has grown into a wide umbrella for anything that doesn't quite fit the commercial country mold. Americana EBX is built as a workhorse-type expansion that works across all these scenarios.

The bass is sampled in two fundamentally different ways: one using traditional finger playing style, the other by muting the strings with rubber foam and striking with the thumb. In addition to the sounds, a broad collection of presets and a custom MIDI library of basslines are included.
