Alesis DMPad

Product Description

The Alesis DMPad is a series of digital cymbal pads with a rubber-coated playing surface for quiet stick response, available in five versions from 12 to 16 inches. They work with virtually all drum modules on the market and are a great choice if you want to expand your existing electronic kit or build your own setup.

The rubber surface keeps the pad quiet when struck, while the module handles the actual sound, ideal if you practice in an apartment or want to keep noise levels down at home.

Models to choose from

• DMPad 12" Cymbal. Rubber-coated cymbal pad for quiet stick response, compatible with virtually all drum modules.
• DMPad 12" Crash. Same construction as above, but with a choke function.
• DMPad 12" Hi-hat. Rubber-coated pad intended for use as a hi-hat together with a separate hi-hat pedal.
• DMPad 14" 3-Zone Ride. 14" pad with triggering from bow, edge and bell, plus a choke function.
• DMPad 16" 3-Zone Cymbal. Same 3-zone construction as above, in a 16" size.

Who It's For

DMPad suits players who already have a drum module and want to add more cymbal pads, or anyone building their own electronic kit from scratch. The 3-Zone models (14" Ride and 16" Cymbal) are especially useful if you want more nuanced triggering between bow, edge and bell.
