The Ahead Phil Rudd (MT) is an extended 5A drumstick in aluminum with a durable, replaceable plastic/nylon sleeve. It was designed together with AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd for extra reach, power and articulation, built to outlast a standard wood stick by a wide margin.

Construction

The core is a high-precision aluminum alloy, giving consistent weight and balance from stick to stick. It's wrapped in a replaceable, super-hard polyurethane cover that protects both the stick and your gear. If the cover wears out, you replace it instead of the whole stick. The tip is an unbreakable nylon tip that delivers a brighter, more articulate sound than a wood tip. The handles are ergonomically tuned for a secure grip.
