Construction and Feel

The alloy core keeps weight and balance variation under 1% between sticks, giving a more consistent feel pair to pair than wood. The cover (MT), tip (5AS, Delrin tip type, described in the source material as an unbreakable nylon tip) and blend ring (RGB5A) can all be replaced individually as they wear, letting the core last far longer than a standard wood stick. A Vibration Control System (VRS) is built into the handle.

Who It's For

With its extra length and balanced feel, the Maxx 7A (MT) suits players in jazz, rock and fusion who want a stick that articulates easily at both soft and loud dynamics while lasting significantly longer than wood.
