Ahead white marching sticks with alloy core. 50% less shock, up to 10x longer life than wood.
Product Description
The Ahead M1CX is a marching stick built for drum corps and all styles of marching, with an alloy core, replaceable parts and a shorter, quicker cover for extra speed. Made in the USA.
The stick has a shorter cover and shorter taper than a traditional model, giving an extended grip area and longer reach. It works equally well with traditional or matched grip.
- 50% less shock than wood drumsticks
- Lasts 6 to 10 times longer than wood drumsticks
- 5% more rebound than wood drumsticks
- Weight and balance variation of less than 1% thanks to a high precision alloy core
- Replaceable covers, tips and rings
- High quality nylon tip for a brighter, more articulate sound
Construction
An all-new Hyper-Form Engineered swaging process gives the stick a longer life span. The shorter cover eliminates blend ring interference and provides more speed. Super-hard polyurethane replaceable covers protect both the stick and your gear. The handles are ergonomically tuned, and the stick features a Sonically Tuned Quad Corking System along with a built-in Vibration Control System (VRS).
Who It's For
A stick for marching drummers who want long life, consistent balance and reduced shock without losing rebound or tone.
