Ahead Fatbeat 5A
Ahead Fatbeat 5A drumsticks, 16.25" (413 mm) with aluminum alloy core. More power, articulation and rebound than wood sticks.
Product Description
The Ahead Fatbeat 5A is a longer 5A stick built around an aluminum alloy core, giving you more power and clearer articulation than a standard wood stick. The replaceable cover and durable nylon tip make it long-lasting and easy on the rest of your gear.
- 50% less shock than wood drumsticks
- Lasts 6 to 10 times longer than wood drumsticks
- 5% more rebound than wood drumsticks
- High precision alloy core guarantees consistent weight and balance, variations of less than 1%
- Replaceable covers, tips and rings
- High quality, unbreakable nylon tip provides a brighter, more articulate sound
- Ergonomically tuned handles
- Built-in Vibration Control System (VRS)
Construction
The super-hard polyurethane cover (MTW, also available as MTS and WMT) protects both the stick and your gear. The tip (5ATB, Delrin) is also available as 5AS, 5AT and 5AB, and the blend ring (RGB5A) can be replaced separately. An optional mallet head can also be fitted.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want a 5A stick with extra power and rebound, and like being able to replace worn parts instead of buying new sticks.
