Ahead Armor Hybrid Case 14"x6.5"

Product Description

The Ahead Armor Hybrid Snare Case was designed with the gigging drummer in mind, combining the durability of a hard case with the flexibility and matching quality of the classic Armor Soft Snare Case. Built for a 14x6.5" snare drum, it keeps the drum protected all the way to the gig.

• Weather/water resistant 600 denier polyester exterior
• Reinforced handles
• PDX-CORE padding with three layers of high-impact laminated foam
• Patented TRUFORM teardrop shape for a snug, tailored fit
• Heavy duty reinforced corner bumpers
• Includes shoulder strap

Construction

The case relies on PDX-CORE padding: three layers of stiff, high-impact laminated foam, one layer of 0.210" thick ABS, and a soft interior lining of premium Sherpa fleece against the drum. The patented TRUFORM shape is a universal teardrop design that allows for a much snugger fit than a standard rectangular case, tailored to accommodate the true shape of the drum along with its mounting hardware. Heavy duty reinforced corner bumpers protect the shell from impact during transport.

Who It's For

A great choice for drummers who play regularly and need a case that can handle rougher handling on the way to and from gigs, without the bulk of a full hard case. It also features a Velcro-secured, clear plastic ID/business card holder.
