Ahead 5B Crossroads (WLT)

Product Description

The Ahead Crossroads 5B (WLT) is a drumstick with an aluminum core and a replaceable polyurethane cover, built to combine long-term durability with the look and feel of a wood drumstick. It's similar to a standard 5B and has become an industry standard in country music thanks to its excellent balance and power. The stick comes with a mini ball tip in nylon.

• 50% less shock than wood drumsticks
• Last 6 to 10 times longer than wood drumsticks
• 5% more rebound than wood drumsticks
• Unbreakable nylon tip that provides a brighter, more articulate sound
• Replaceable covers, tips and rings

Construction and durability

The high precision alloy core guarantees consistent weight and balance, with variations of less than 1% between sticks. The super-hard polyurethane cover protects both the stick and your gear, and can be replaced once worn instead of retiring the whole stick. The handles are ergonomically tuned, and the stick features a built-in Vibration Control System (VRS) that reduces strain on the wrist and arm during longer playing sessions.

The stick comes with a limited 60-day warranty.
