Ahead 6-Hole Alloy 13" - Chrome
Floating suspension mount in chrome-plated aircraft aluminum, 60% lighter than steel. Fits 90% of mounting brackets.
Product Description
The Ahead 13" 6-Hole Alloy Suspension Mounting System frees your tom from its standard mount, letting the shell resonate freely. The system is ultra-lightweight, easy to install, and fits the vast majority of mounting brackets on the market.
- Chrome-plated, high-strength aircraft aluminum
- Ultra lightweight construction, 60% lighter than a steel equivalent
- Universal face plate that fits 90% of mounting brackets
- 3 fixed grommets that reverse for left- or right-side mounted toms
By lifting the tom away from a fixed, directly screwed-in mount, damping against the shell is reduced, giving more resonance and a more open, alive sound. The aircraft aluminum construction makes the system considerably easier to handle than a traditional steel version, while the chrome finish gives a durable and clean look.
The three fixed grommets are reversible, meaning the same system can be used whether the tom is mounted on the left or right side of the stand. Handy when rearranging your setup.
