Ahead 6-Hole Alloy Suspension Mounting System 10" - Chrome
Ultra-lightweight 10" suspension mount from Ahead. Chrome-plated aircraft aluminum, 60% lighter than steel, for freer, open tone.
Product Description
The Ahead 10" 6-Hole Alloy Suspension Mounting System frees your drum from its standard mounting bracket, letting it sing out. Built from chrome-plated, high-strength aircraft aluminum, it's ultra-lightweight, 60% lighter than a comparable steel system, and easy to install.
- Chrome-plated, high-strength aircraft aluminum
- Ultra-lightweight construction, 60% lighter than steel
- Universal face plate that fits 90% of mounting brackets
- 3 fixed grommets that reverse for left- or right-side mounted toms
By isolating the drum from a rigid mounting point, the shell is free to resonate more openly, often resulting in a fuller, more open tone. The universal face plate makes the system compatible with most existing mounting brackets, and the three grommets can be reversed depending on whether the tom is mounted on the left or right side.
