Tuning and Sound
The drum is diatonically tuned in C major at 440 Hz, with eight tones: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C. Each tone field carries a coloured sticker that marks the note, making it easy to find the right tone right away. Even for players who've never touched a tuned percussion instrument before. The colour code is compatible with boomwhackers, making the Nataraj Rainbow a great complement in group and classroom settings where both instruments are used.
