Meinl Percussion African Djembe 10,75"-12,25" (H 24")

Product Description

The Meinl African Djembe is a hand-built djembe in solid mahogany with a goat skin head and traditional rope tuning, from Meinl's Earth Rhythm Series. This listing is the Large size and comes with a heavy-duty Professional Djembe bag.

Construction and Materials

The shell is turned from solid, plantation-grown mahogany and topped with a goat skin head. A classic combination that gives the djembe its warm, organic tone. Tuning is done the traditional way with rope, just like on original West African djembes, giving you full manual control over head tension without any hardware. The shell, skin and ropework are genuinely crafted to a high standard, in line with the Earth Rhythm Series philosophy of tradition and craftsmanship working together.
