9" Paiste PST X Pure Bell Effects Cymbal

Product Description

The PST X Pure Bell is a 9" effects cymbal from Paiste, built to add extra character to any cymbal setup. The bell is unusually long, giving a ping-heavy, clear sound with an integrated chick sound, while the edge can be played from low to loud volume.

The PST X series is Paiste's affordable line of effect and specialty cymbals, offering many types, variations and sizes to mix into a more personal setup. Pure Bell is made from a CuSn20 bronze, MS63 brass and aluminum alloy, which contributes to its bright, effect-driven character.

Sound Character

The thickness is light, a result of the material choice rather than the lathing, giving a clear attack sound and a ping-heavy intensity in the bell. Paiste describes the sound as effective, trashy and exotic depending on the model in the series, and the edge can be played from low to loud volume without losing character.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want to add a distinct, ping-heavy effect sound to your cymbal setup without breaking the bank.
