8" Aquarian Super-2 - Clear
Two-ply drum head (Clear) with lots of attack, projection and depth. Great for rock and hard rock.
Product Description
The Aquarian Super-2 is a transparent two-ply drum head in 8" built for plenty of attack, projection and depth. Two layers of film, 7 mil and 5 mil, combine for a full, powerful sound that works well for rock and hard rock.
The head is made using Aquarian's Vacuum Tuned Process, which prevents air from getting trapped between the two plies during manufacturing. This gives more even contact between the layers and a fuller tone than a typical two-ply head.
Construction
The patented Safe-T-Loc ring keeps the head securely seated and prevents it from slipping in the hoop during hard playing. The Sound Curve edge is designed for what Aquarian calls Responsive Tuning, giving the head a quick response when tuning.
Who It's For
The Super-2 suits players who want a two-ply head with clear attack and plenty of body, rather than a thinner, more open single-ply head.
