Product Description
The PST 5 Splash is a small, thin cymbal from Paiste, cast in CuSn8 bronze alloy – the same alloy used in Paiste's finer series, here in a simpler, budget-friendly execution. The result is a musical, open splash with fast response, great for adding a short, bright accent to your grooves.

Sound Character
PST 5 is Paiste's entry-level line, but it's built on the same bronze recipe as the brand's more advanced series. It delivers a clear, clean, and defined tone with an energetic attack. The attack sound is described as washy – an airy, spreading sound that works well as a color accent in a groove, regardless of genre or volume, live included.
Construction
The alloy is CuSn8 Bronze, sometimes referred to as "2002 bronze" after Paiste's more well-known series sharing the same base. The cymbal is thin, which contributes to the fast, open response, and features an integrated bell for extra definition on attack.
