8" Hi-Frequency Coated, Aquarian

Product Description

The Aquarian Hi-Frequency Coated 8" is a thin, 7-mil single-ply head designed to bring out the higher frequencies of your tom. The thin Nu-Brite film gives a brighter, faster response than a thicker head and works great as a resonant (bottom) head on toms.

• Single-ply, 7-mil Nu-Brite film
• Brings out higher frequencies for a brighter tone
• Fast-responding construction
• Works as a batter or resonant head

Sound and feel

The thin film responds quickly to stick attack and emphasizes the higher frequencies of the drum, giving the tom a brighter character. Used as a resonant head, it lets the batter head's tone open up underneath.

Also works as a batter head

Hi-Frequency is primarily intended as a resonant head, but can also be used as a batter head if you play with a light touch and want the fastest-responding option available. For harder playing, a thicker head is recommended.

Finish

The head is also available in Video Gloss, in black or white, for players who want the same fast response combined with a striking visual look on their toms.
