The Aquarian Focus-X Coated With Power Dot is an 8" tom head with a vented dampening ring tucked inside the hoop underneath the head. The design removes unwanted overtones without needing any extra muffling, while keeping the fat, full tone toms are known for.

The head is single-ply, 10 mil, with a coated finish and a built-in Power Dot that adds extra strength and focus to the center of the head. The vented dampening ring sits inside the hoop and works quietly in the background: it soaks up excess overtones while leaving the fundamental tone and fat attack intact. The benefit is that you don't need to add your own muffling products. The dampening is already built in.
