The Res-O-Two Emperor Haz is a 2-ply tom head in 8", made exclusively for Dunnett by Remo USA. The semi-transparent timpani film under Remo's clear film gives a full-scale, open and clean sound with an increased tension range.
Res-O-Two is the 2-ply version of Res-O-Tone and builds on Remo's consistently high manufacturing quality for 2-ply heads. The construction combines Remo's clear film with a semi-transparent timpani film, giving the head its distinctive semi-transparent finish and a highly responsive feel.
Construction and Sound
The head is built from two plies, 7.50 mil and 7.00 mil, with the timpani film left uncoated. This gives an increased tension range compared to simpler constructions, contributing to the open, clean sound. The head is made in the USA.
