Product Description
The Paiste 2002 Splash is an 8" splash cymbal made from CuSn8 bronze ("2002 Bronze"), part of the legendary 2002 series. It delivers a short, clear, cutting accent sound and works equally well live and in the studio, across everything from classic rock to hard rock and metal.
- Brilliant, clear and warm sound with high energy and powerful projection
- Washy attack character with lively intensity
- Integrated bell
- Medium thickness, playable from soft to medium volume
- Alloy: CuSn8, also known as "2002 Bronze"
Paiste 2002 has defined the sound of generations of drummers since the early days of rock. Today's 2002 series is still built on the same foundations as the original classic cymbals, making it just as relevant in modern contexts as in the genres it originally helped shape.
Uses
Suited for music ranging from medium-soft to loud, both live and in the studio. Common genres include classic rock, blues, punk, hard rock, heavy metal and most modern metal styles, crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul and gospel, along with related subgenres.
