Paiste 2002 Cup Chime Cymbal Set of 7

Product Description

The Paiste 2002 Cup Chime is a 7-piece set of small, bell-like cymbals that add an extra layer of shimmer on top of your kit. The alloy is CuSn8, the same bronze used throughout the 2002 series, giving a bright, distinct and highly musical voice. It works equally well in the rehearsal room, on stage and in the studio.

The 2002 series has defined the sound of generations of drummers since it launched in the early 1970s, and today's 2002 is still built on that same classic foundation. The Cup Chime set fits most musical settings: classic rock, blues, punk, hard rock, heavy metal and most modern metal styles, as well as crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul and gospel.

Sound Character

The sound is described as brilliant, clear, warm and strong, with high energy and powerful projection. The set has a medium thickness and suits playing from soft to medium loud volume. The attack is lively with a pingy intensity, the bell is long and the chick sound full.
