Product Description
Vic Firth American Classic 7A Vic Grip with Wood Tip
Vic Grip is a great option if you struggle with sticks slipping out of your hands, or if you simply like the feel of a direct, non-slip grip. Vic Grip is a thin rubber coating applied to the grip area of the stick. It gives a solid hold without feeling bulky, and it's especially appreciated during long practice sessions or gigs where hands tend to sweat. Aside from the grip surface, this model is identical to a standard American Classic 7A.
The stick is turned from select hickory, a wood known for its balance of tone, durability, and shock absorption. The tip is a wood tear drop tip, the classic 7A shape, giving a focused sound and good control. The stick has a medium taper.
This model belongs to the American Classic line, Vic Firth's range of traditional stick models made from select hickory and quality-controlled for consistency. Vic Firth was founded in 1963 by Everett "Vic" Firth and has since been regarded as a top choice among drummers worldwide.
A good choice if you play 7A and want a more secure grip without changing the stick's weight or feel. Sold as a pair.
