The 7A XL from Wincent is the classic 7A drumstick in a longer format, made from selected US hickory. It keeps the familiar 7A feel but gives you extra reach and leverage, without stepping up to a thicker stick.
Wincent shapes its sticks by sanding rather than turning them on a lathe, which reduces the risk of cracking at the tip. The sticks are also treated with Wincent's own wax blend, protecting the wood and helping the sticks last longer under heavy playing.
