Vic Firth Nova 7A
Product Description
The Vic Firth Nova 7A drumsticks are a budget-friendly choice in the standard 7A size, without cutting corners on quality. Nova is Vic Firth's second-grade hickory line, made to the same specifications as the equivalent American Classic models but sorted from stock that didn't pass the strictest grading. The result is a stick that holds up well against other options in the budget segment.
Each pair is weight-sorted and tone-paired using Vic Firth's own technology, so you get a consistent, matched pair every time. The sticks feature an oval wood tip (tear drop shape) for a warm, rounded sound on both drums and cymbals, a medium taper, and a lacquer finish for a comfortable, durable grip.
A solid choice if you want to keep stick costs down without giving up feel and control - works well for practice at home as well as regular rehearsals. Vic Firth has been making drumsticks since 1963 and is regarded by many percussionists as an industry leader, offering everything from hickory sticks for drum set to brushes, rods, and mallets.
