6" Evans Reso7 - Coated
6" resonant tom head with controlled sustain and open tone. A smooth gate without going dead.
Product Description
The Evans Reso7 is a resonant tom head that delivers an open tone with controlled sustain. Without ever sounding dead or muddy. Built from a single layer of 7-mil coated film, it's a great choice when you want a little extra control on the bottom side without losing life in the tone.
Reso7 acts like a soft gate: sustain is slightly shorter than a standard clear resonant head, while the drum still sounds open and natural. That makes it a smart pick if you want to tame the outer edge of the tone without going all the way to a heavily dampened head.
The Level 360 profile
The head is built with Evans' Level 360 profile, which makes it significantly easier to tune than many other heads. Level 360 means the head sits completely flat against the drum shell right from the start, giving you a working sound immediately instead of needing a break-in period.
Reso7 is available in sizes from 6" up to 18", so you'll find the right size for whichever tom you're pairing it with.
